New York State’s Only Dedicated Cask Ale Brewery.

About Us

Who we are

New York State’s Only Dedicated Cask Ale Brewery.

Our brewery began in 2014 on the beautiful, picturesque shores of Seneca Lake in Rock Stream, New York. Our goal was simple: to become the number 1 producer of fine cask conditioned ales in the State of New York and to foster a strong and growing sense of community that exists among the lakes between brewers and beer enthusiasts.

Offering a family friendly, fun setting we encourage you to come visit and soak up the environment whilst enjoying the picturesque views of the lake and some of the finest cask conditioned ales in the State, including our specialty line of British Style “Real Cask Ales.”

Want to talk shop with the people that pull it all together? Ask for the owner – Bradley, or Head Brewer – George who you will find serving, interacting and enjoying some good old fashioned conversation.

Currently the below lineup of Cask Conditioned British Style Real Ales are available in our tasting room. This lineup will continue to grow and expand with some fantastic recipes and beers handcrafted by our Head Brewer – George Pusins. Continue to check back regularly to see what new beers have been added!

SLB52 – Golden Ale
A light session ale with a subtle malty sweetness balanced by smooth English hop bitterness. English ale yeast gives this beer a unique fruitiness you won’t find in your average light beer. Supremely quaff-able! (Aunt Pat’s brew – ask us about it!)
Malt: 2 Row, Carapils // Hops: East Kent Goldings
4.5% ABV, 12 IBUs, 3.5 SRM

Merri Man – English IPA
A hoppy, strong pale ale made in the British tradition. Floral dry hop aroma is followed by sharp, persistent kettle hop bitterness. Biscuit-like, caramel malt sweetness balances the flavor while adding depth and body.
Malt: UK Pale Malt, NYS Pale Malt, British Crystal // Hops: UK Target, NYS Fuggle, East Kent Goldings
6% ABV, 50IBUs, 7SRM

2017 Makers & Masters Classic – Gold Award Winner

Steamship – Foreign Extra Stout

A rich, dark ale made to last. Roasted malts add character reminiscent of dark chocolate and coffee. Caramel sweetness balances the dry bitterness from the roasted malts and hops.

Truly delicious!

Malt: Marris Otter UK Malt, NYS Organic 2 Row, English Crystal Malt, Chocolate Malt, Roasted Barley  // Hops: Cascade, UK Fuggle
5.5% ABV, 40 IBUs, 35 SRM

2017 Makers & Masters Classic – Silver Award Winner

70/- Scottish Shilling Ale
A malt focused ale made with Scottish floor malted barley. British dark crystal malt adds hints of caramel and dried fruit that combine to create a full-flavored session ale.
Malt: Golden Promise, NYS 2-row // Hops: UK Target, NYS Willamette
3.5% ABV, 16 IBUs, 16 SRM

2017 Makers & Masters Classic – Gold Award Winner

Old Cranleigh – Old Ale
A strong, warming ale hints of sweet caramel and toffee balanced by earthy hop bitterness. Dry hops & English Ale yeast lend a pleasant fruity aroma.
Malt: UK Maris Otter, NYS Pale Malt // Hops: UK Target, NYS Fuggle, NYS Centennial
8% ABV, 48 IBUs, 12 SRM

2017 Makers & Masters Classic – Bronze Award Winner

Baker Street – Best Bitter
This traditional English pale ale is made with British pale malt and two varieties of English hops. A sturdy malt backbone balances the hop bitterness & English ale yeast lends character and complexity to this incredibly drinkable beer.
Malt: UK Pale Malt, British Crystal // Hops: Fuggle, East Kent Goldings
5% ABV, 31 IBUs, 7SRM

2017 Makers & Masters Classic – Silver Award Winner

Archies – Mild
The Quintessential British Session Ale!

Known for its low level of hops character and low alcohol content, grainy, toasted malty flavors and undertones of chocolate and coffee ring through in this ale made popular in both London and the Midlands of the United Kingdom.
