About Us

Who we are

New York State’s Only Dedicated Cask Ale Brewery.

Our brewery began in 2014 on the beautiful, picturesque shores of Seneca Lake in Rock Stream, New York. Our goal was simple: to become the number 1 producer of fine cask conditioned ales in the State of New York and to foster a strong and growing sense of community that exists among the lakes between brewers and beer enthusiasts.

Offering family friendly, fun settings we encourage you to come visit The Beerocracy located at our Brewery Location and soak up the environment whilst enjoying the picturesque views of the lake and some of the finest cask conditioned ales in the State, including our specialty line of British Style “Real Cask Ales.”

Want to talk shop with the people that pull it all together? Ask for the owner – Bradley, or Head Brewer – George who you will find serving, interacting and enjoying some good old fashioned conversation.

Our lineup of Cask Conditioned Real Ales are available at our British Tudor Inspired Pub –  The Beerocracy. This lineup will continue to grow and expand with some fantastic recipes and beers handcrafted by our Head Brewer – George Pusins. Continue to check back regularly to see what new beers have been added!

SLB52 – Golden Ale
A light session ale with a subtle malty sweetness balanced by smooth English hop bitterness. English ale yeast gives this beer a unique fruitiness you won’t find in your average light beer. Supremely quaff-able! (Aunt Pat’s brew – ask us about it!)
Malt: 2 Row, Carapils // Hops: East Kent Goldings
4.5% ABV, 12 IBUs, 3.5 SRM

Merri Man – English IPA
A hoppy, strong pale ale made in the British tradition. Floral dry hop aroma is followed by sharp, persistent kettle hop bitterness. Biscuit-like, caramel malt sweetness balances the flavor while adding depth and body.
Malt: UK Pale Malt, NYS Pale Malt, British Crystal // Hops: UK Target, NYS Fuggle, East Kent Goldings
6% ABV, 50IBUs, 7SRM

2017 Makers & Masters Classic – Gold Award Winner

Archie’s – Mild Ale

The quintessential British Session Ale!

Known for its low level of hops character and low alcohol content, grainy, toasted malty flavors & undertones of chocolate & coffee ring through in this ale made famous in the north of England.

Malt: UK Pale Malt, 6 Row, Light Crystal 45, Chocolate Malt  // Hops: Cascade
3.8% ABV, 18 IBUs, 23 SRM

Easy Eddy – Kolsch Style Ale

Light to medium in body with a very pale color, hop bitterness is medium to slightly assertive. A somewhat vinous(grap-y from malts) and dry flavor make up the rest of this delicious summer drinking ale.

Dunmore – Extra Special Bitter (ESB)
A hoppy, strong English Ale with a hearty malt backbone. While stronger than traditional bitter ales this beer is still extremely drinkable. Look for floral notes from the English and NYS hops.
Malt: Marris Otter, NYS Pale Malt, English Crystal Malt // Hops: UK Target, NYS Willamette, East Kent Goldings

Old Cranleigh – Old Ale
A strong, warming ale hints of sweet caramel and toffee balanced by earthy hop bitterness. Dry hops & English Ale yeast lend a pleasant fruity aroma.
Malt: UK Maris Otter, NYS Pale Malt // Hops: UK Target, NYS Fuggle, NYS Centennial
8% ABV, 48 IBUs, 12 SRM

2017 Makers & Masters Classic – Bronze Award Winner

American IPA

This American IPA is brewed using NYS Michigan Copper Hops provided by Crooked Creeks Hop Farm and Simcoe Hops from the West Coast. Clean fermenting American Ale yeast allows the hop flavors & aromas to take center stage. A combination of traditional brewing methods & modern ingredients makes this hoppy ale truly unique.

Malt: Marris Otter , NYS 2 Row, Crystal Malt  // Hops: NYS Michigan Copper, West Coast Simcoe
6.2% ABV, 54 IBUs, 6.3 SRM

The Colonial – New England Style IPA

A hazy, juicy, citrusy, hoppy , full bodied, unfiltered ale. Brewed in the New England IPA style, this ale does not disappoint! Tasty, robust and full of flavor and smoother levels of hop bitterness than the traditional IPA.

Steamship – Foreign Extra Stout

A rich, dark ale made to last. Roasted malts add character reminiscent of dark chocolate and coffee. Caramel sweetness balances the dry bitterness from the roasted malts and hops.

Malt: Marris Otter UK Malt, NYS Organic 2 Row, English Crystal Malt, Chocolate Malt, Roasted Barley  // Hops: Cascade, UK Fuggle
5.5% ABV, 40 IBUs, 35 SRM

2017 Makers & Masters Classic – Silver Award Winner

Baker Street – Best Bitter
This traditional English pale ale is made with British pale malt and two varieties of English hops. A sturdy malt backbone balances the hop bitterness & English ale yeast lends character and complexity to this incredibly drinkable beer.
Malt: UK Pale Malt, British Crystal // Hops: Fuggle, East Kent Goldings
5% ABV, 31 IBUs, 7SRM

2016 Makers & Masters Classic – Gold Award Winner
2017 Makers & Masters Classic – Silver Award Winner
2017 TAP NY – Bronze Medal Award Winner

Bertie’s Brown Ale

This delicious Northern English Brown Ale is a flavorful, malt-focused beer with hints of nuttiness, biscuit, and caramel. Featuring gentle malt sweetness in this overall balanced beer. More malty than a British Bitter with the malt flavors coming through from the darker malts, stronger than our dark mild with less roastiness than an English Porter. Even though the malt sweetness and hop bitterness are evident, both are restrained and neither overwhelms the other.

Malt: UK Pale Malt, 6 Row, Light Crystal 45, Chocolate Malt // Hops: Cascade
3.8% ABV, 18 IBUs, 23 SRM
